Trying to Grow Within the Work Force

    I've currently been employed with Bass Pro Shops for three years now, and I've finally came to the realization that I need to step up and push for success. The only problem I’ve been running into is that I'm only twenty-two years old and certain managers still view me as a kid. Working under three different departments (Front-End, Clothing, and Hunting) all my managers see me put forth hard work, and effort going beyond my normal required job tasks. Yet something keeps holding my progression back, I just recently informed my managers that I want to push forward and progress with company. There is currently a lead position in the Marine Department that I have applied for about two weeks ago. So all I can do is work hard, get noticed, and hopefully I'll be able to let everyone know if I acquired the job within the next few weeks.

The Begining of a New Era

Hello everyone,

My name is Shane S., I currently live in Alabama. I'm twenty two years old and, my life is about to begin. As a child my mother and father raised me to be as responsible as possible while trying to achieve the best of my abilities. Well starting Friday the 13th 2010, my steps into the real world begin. My girlfriend and I have taken the next step together by leasing an apartment together in Alabama. My goal with Live Love Life Grow is to express my emotions, tell my coming of age story, and detailing the world on my life goals, gains, love, and tribulations all while asking for advise, as well as giving advice in return.
